The School is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Curriculum Leader of Computer Science with the highest order leadership skills, to help ensure that this is a truly outstanding school with outstanding provision in this area. We are looking for an exceptional Computer Science specialist, with the ability to teach up to A Level and the capacity to contribute more widely to teaching across the Team and the School.

The successful candidate will lead an established team, contributing fully to maintaining excellence by inspiring and motivating both staff and students.

The School is seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, an enthusiastic Hearing Impaired Teaching Assistant to compliment the work currently undertaken by the Hearing Impaired Unit. The skills required for the role include excellent communication and organisation, as well as being able to support in mainstream classes in a calm and professional manner. The right person will be accountable to the Head of the Centre of the Deaf.

Scale 5 posts involve a higher level knowledge across a range of SEN. There would be a greater contribution to the planning and assessment of learning needs and a more proactive involvement in the provision of support.
