Year 12 BTEC Applied Science Chemists make “impressively pure” Aspirin
BTEC Applied Science Chemists have been working for several weeks to make pure Aspirin as one of their BTEC Assignments. The students then took their samples to Brunel University to test the purity using the Infrared Spectroscope. University researchers were extremely impressed by the quality of the chemical products students had made and even asked to keep the samples for their records. Thank you to Mr Damree for arranging the visit.
