Past students Simran, Kiranpal and Meriame talk to Sixth Form
Simran Kaur Gill (pictured right) returned to Heston to tell Sixth Form students about Dentistry. Simran has just completed her Dentistry course at Liverpool University and was able to advise current Sixth Form students on what to expect at university as well as providing some advice about how to get into Dental School. Simran is about to launch her Dentistry career in a Dental Practice remembers her time at Heston fondly: "My teachers at Heston were really supportive and encouraged me to apply to study Dentistry, which is a really competitive course ... I'm so grateful that they did!"
Two other students who are still studying have also talked to Heston's Sixth Form students who are keen to study the sciences at university. Both Meriame Berboucha (pictured left) and Kiranpal Kullar are studying at Imperial College, Meriame is studying Physics and Kiranpal is studying Chemistry. They were able to provide an insight into university life and particularly just what is involved in studying sciences at Imperial College.
