Parent Coffee Mornings - do come along
Meet other parents & hear from visiting speakers
Parent Coffee Mornings are now in full swing and will be taking place on Friday mornings during term time.
As well as providing a great opportunity to meet other parents and enjoy coffee and cake there are also a number of useful sessions lined up offering parents help in a variety of areas. There are also regular visitors to the coffee mornings, the most recent being representatives from the Citizens' Advice Bureau who were able to outline their role and how they can help in many areas.
Parent Coffee Mornings are open to parents from any Hounslow school either senior or primary, parents should come to Heston Community School reception and the sessions run from 9:00am to 10:20am.

Katie Wetherell and Sam Saib, Learning Mentors from Heston Community School, and Kim Jones, Parent Support Advisor from Westbrook Primary School attend the Coffee Mornings and are always happy to help parents in any way they can.
Katie is keen to encourage more parents to come along: “The more parents we have the more we are able to share good ideas – often about your children but also about any subject – either concerns or sharing great ideas about local events and opportunities. The mornings also provide an opportunity to meet new people and socialise. We look forward to welcoming more parents very soon.”
