The MFL Department celebrated the European Day of Languages on Monday 27^th September 2021. Learning another language is so important, allowing us to understand millions more people around the world and be able to really understand the culture of countries when we visit them. The day was full of fun activities. The French teachers provided us with the opportunity to taste French food such as croissants and ‘pain au chocolat’ and there was a treasure hunt quiz to find members of staff that speak other languages.

Simmerpreet Singh (8G) said, “I really enjoyed the quiz. There were 10 winners and I was one of them. I received a box of Celebration chocolates as a prize. Miam-miam!”
