Year 9 - 12-hour STEM project
Five year 9 students took part in a 12-hour STEM project to produce a model hydraulic arm. The students took this further by modifying their hydraulic arms with electromagnets to lift magnetic objects.
Five year 9 students took part in a 12-hour STEM project to produce a model hydraulic arm. The students took this further by modifying their hydraulic arms with electromagnets to lift magnetic objects.
The project was submitted to the British National Science Association who were very impressed with the work. This resulted in the following students being issued with a Bronze CREST award for their efforts.
